So I cruse over to weather.com to see what the forecast is for next week, and not only is it supposed to rain during most of the show, it's supposed to SNOW on Thursday. Now, this is weather.com so I suspect it will actually be in the 60's and sunny... but what if they're right?

On the plus side, wet T-Shirts on a cold day...

Might be hard to believe, but once upon a time I was a mad man on a skateboard. I have the scars to prove it.

I heal slower now though, so I pick my spots!

Yes, that IS hard to believe

Then again, no one can believe I got the scars on my leg because I used to ride (note: not DRIVE) a motorcycle either. :) They can, however, understand completely the oven burns on my arms.......

I've been in vegas once during Comdex when it rained. It was nothing like what I would call a "flash flood" around here, it just rained solid for 2-3 hours. However, since Vegas is normally a desert, apparently that's all it took to overwhelm the drainage in many areas.

The town reacted to that water like Atlantans react to snow. Cabs weren't moving very well because water was several inches deep on many streets. People were generally freaking out.

I also remember last year a week or two before the show the Imperial Palace parking garage turned into a lake. I'm also pretty sure that's where some of the seafood on their buffet came from. You know it's a bad buffet when the FFN's wont touch it.

I used to love to go to Vegas when I was in Indiana...... it was always better weather.

Now that I am in Florida, I hate leaving the 70's ......I am not looking forward to it like I used to. When the wind blows in Vegas..... it is cold.

So, I guess it is all your perception.

not very often, but every once in awhile we get flakes...
up in the mountains (Mt. Chrleston, Red Rock Canyon, etc.) it snows quite a bit though

it doesn't rain much but when it does, people turn stupid and it's usually a flash flood which increases the stupidity...
