What did you get your kid(s) for Christmas?

Our son got some cool things, but we didn't go over the top spoiling him.
A few new toys, and he is very happy.

Funny how the cheapest dollar store dumptruck is what makes him happiest.

Bikes, clothes, spy gear, brats, games, cd players and ton of other crap was under our tree this year... Both my daughters are very good kids(not sure why?) and "Santa" did reward their good behavior... At 7 and 9 they are old enough to want the "good stuff" but are young enough to think a fatman in Redsuit pays for it... but all in all it was a great Christmas...

Daughter (13) - Snare Drum set up, several music dvds, bigger cd case, various small things

Daughter (23) - Co signed a loan for her new car (2004 Cheby Aveo), DVD box set, various small and sundry items

Son (23) - New watch, various computer games for xbox and gamecube, various small and sundry items (He has to go to another ship in a month so didn't want to give him extra baggage)

"" The idea that you can spoil a child is ridiculous" - my sister LOL

It seems Santa got them everything on their list cause they were very very nice :)

The youngest (6mths) seems to have an obsession with rubber ducks. So he got a super cool rubber ducky , which I too borrow

I think it could be penquin related..

Thankfully I was broke when the kid was growing up, so I neve had to worry about spoiling him :awinky: but he was the only grandchild and only nephew so he always got more than enough.

This year I gave him fun stuff - Japanese for Dummies Book and CD, a Spongebob UNO deck, chocolate orange, Santa Pez, calendar, etc.

When he was little, the boxes were always more fun to him :P

I swear you & Burtros were separated at birth sometimes....

(13) - easy to shop for this year - all she wanted was a Game Cube/games, an acoustic guitar, a couple of CDs and books

(15) - harder to shop for.... every CD or game he wanted was a "fight" to find, but I found them - PS2 games, CDs, a new CD/stereo for his room and his first electric shaver

(39) - hub, as my oldest child... on his list was a Game Boy Advance SP, carrying case, Super Mario Bros 3, Madden 2005, Nascar 2004, Sonic 3 and Need for Speed Underground 2... I also grabbed him a copy of Never Coming to a Theater Near You (I think you recommended that to us Sykk) that he's been poring over ever since he opened it. THIS is my most spoiled child.

A friend told me I was very lucky to have a hubby that required holiday shopping in the toy section more than the serious "grown-up" areas of the store. I have to agree.

My 3 year young son got one of everything :P

Actually his Christmas was spread out over 4 houses (mine, the ex, both sets of Grandparents) Santa came everywhere but my house. Father Christmas came here

Father Christams brought - books, new bed and bedding, assorted Thomas the Tank Engine things, a cool Jolly Roger ship (Caption Hook's boat) that does a bunch of stuff including firing cannon balls, a pop up from the coffin Jack Skellington, clothes, DVD's, Snow White playset complete with Dwarfs, an Incredibles play set with all characters and a bunch of little stocking stuffers

and La Befona comes to visit the night of January 5

Yeah he's a little spolied, we had to have a talk while he was opening things here at my new house. He's pretty good about it

Now does what I get my 21 year young girlfriend count as a kid too? :awinky:

I know this is a little late, but Santa brought the game Cadoo for my 7 year old, it is a lot of fun, even the 13 year old likes it.

Both of mine got almost everything they asked for. They were so happy, I swear they looked like they were 3 again.

I can relate to the one of everything ... except that the grandchild population seems to be increasing (gives new meaning to the term "those fucking kids of mine", I guess). By next Christmas we will be up to "three of everything."

My only child (4 year old severly rotten son) got game controllers that plug into the tv a/v outs, mess free crayola sets, trucks, an aquadoodle and a cool kid sized recliner in addition to a batman/superman remote racetrack, shrek movie, spiderman outfit, etc.

That kid got more in one Christmas (and this one was smaller than the others he's had) than I did in my first 10 years of life.

He is Soooo rotten.

Chris, I'm glad you've enjoyed your Christmas with the little man. It gets more fun. :)

I played that game before but I grew out of it. It's a fun drinking game too.
