They still exist. They are people that spend little time on boards if ever. If their name came up in a conversation it is unlikely that anyone would know who they where. Some people have amazing skills.. they spend their time making money and their downtime is spent away from the computer.

I know a webmaster who today has sent over 500 joins.

My perspective - The bottom line is people that send that much traffic want to know they are dealing with reputable companies, they want their check on time, and they don't want a lot of hassle. When we were doing the SE stuff and sending mega signups out there we were only willing to send to a few companies. That is just my opinion on it. Of course the other way is just to develop a relationship over time and that person will probably try you out.

Good question.. word of mouth and luck. They signup for affiliate programs just like any normal webmaster.

Two days later they turn the traffic on and you get a big surprise..

I don't know how many webmasters have that kind of traffic. I just know that they exist. Every LARGE program probably has 1-5 REALLY big webmasters. Since nobody ever talks about these guys it might be the same 5 guys spreading their traffic around to different programs.. haha..

Since I deal with Non nowadays, I can say our whales do hit the magic 200 a day. Back to our earlier convo, 10 percent do 80 percent of our sales.

Over 500 paysite joins per day on a 1 week average.. so some days more than 500 and others days less.. but on average 500.

I don't know how many people can do it.. I would guess maybe 20 people in the world could send that many joins to a paysite on a daily basis. I'm guessing high in my opinion because there are soooo many programs to send traffic to. People who can send that much traffic spread it out across multiple programs. I would guess low at probably 7-8.

I don't know if anyone can do 1000 consistantly anymore.. I could be wrong though. I don't know anyone today that can do that many.
