I posted a little bit here last year, and when I saw Gonzo at Cybernet in June he asked why I didn't come around anymore, and I finally got some time this month.

I thought you guys have a pretty cool board. I met Peaches in August at Internext, she seemed pretty cool too, so I thought I would hang out with you guys. Not trying to be a name dropper, but just letting you know that a couple of people, when I met in them person made me feel like I would be welcome here.

We've been letting everything run a little wild over the past few weeks to see what grows out of it. Nick just pruned off the "Would Ja Hit It" line of thinking.

Honestly we want to make the board more open but we dont want to get to the point where the board becomes unusable.

Kevin asked about being too self promotional. I think promotions are part of business....and it is the cooperative marketing idea we hinted at last month. I guess you could say he was promoting the radio show.

Bottom line is Oprano has to be a win win situation for everyone involved including Oprano. So we are experimenting with several different ideas which youve seen over the past few weeks.

I think its safe to say that we dont want to see the site evolve to far away from business. If we dont cap things off....we will have endless threads with chick pics .... and inane postings such as "Could you still blow your load if your dog walked in" or "Post A Picture of Your Cell Phone". If you guys would enjoy having some fun with the surfers I encourage you to post all the pics and crazy assed polls at http://www.aftermidnightlive.com . Its a surfer oriented site Ive been helping Loki with as we have direct contact with potential customers.

Im happy to see folks using the community for socializing to a point but Id hope that we all arent still "getting high on our own supply".

Gonzo, I'll definitely have to check out http://www.aftermidnightlive.com since Smut Drs is 90% about surfer traffic. I'm all about "cooperative marketing" as you said. I have to admit that I haven't had the chance yet to check out your radio show since it's past my bedtime. (I try to get at least 4 hours of sleep), but if there's anything I can do to promote you or anyone else here with some reciprocal promotion, I'd love to entertain some ideas.

I think I made the mistake of being the "new guy that's a little too self assured and maybe a little arrogant" in a new community. Sorry for that. I am a newbie here, even if I'm not a "newbie" overall.

Perhaps I should have been a little more humble.

I was guessing that the problem was being too promotional because I didn't think that being "unclassy" was the problem since we're in the adult entertainment business, and I've sure seen much more "unclassy" stuff than what I posted.
