Vick, as the inventories start to rise up again, the prices fall. Right now I think general feeling in the world is that strife in various oil producing areas is down, and labor peace seems to have come to most oil producing nations. Combine that with a nice mild fall, and inventories go up.

Blame Bush? Nope. Credit Bush? nope. Only thing bush is doing on this issue is NOT attacking someone else.

Remember, it is easy to cause panic, almost impossible to stop it - you can only stop it by no longer creating whatever made the panic to start with.

Your oil prices would be MUCH lower, but with the low US dollar, the price of oil appears to be higher in your market than in other places. Calculate peak price of oil in Euros 1 year ago compared to the price today. It's pretty darn impressive. But inside the US market, that drop is slower because of the higher dollar... one of the many ways a low greenback can have an effect on the economy.
