View Full Version : My thoughts on Oprano...

First, I want to thank the Oprano family. There would be no Oprano without the fantastic support we have had for you over the years. It is the people who make Oprano the special place it is. I consider myself very lucky to have developed many friendships from Oprano that will continue well beyond business. Like all families we had out share of drama, and disputes, but in the end the family stuck together.

Next, I want to thank my partner Serge. One could not ask for a better partner. While many people do not get past his board persona, it is their loss - Serge is the guy you can count on when the chips are down. More important then being a great partner, Serge has been a dear friend - he is family.

Serge it was a hell of a ride.... Katie and I look foward to spending more personal time with you and Lady Law, traveling, and experiencing all the joys of life. ( including great food, and wine)

Finally, I want to say a word about the new owners. I think there is a perfect mix of old school experience, and youthful energy. Nick is one of the original board Czars. He has a ton of knowledge and experience when it comes to managing boards.

Nick will have a great partner in Gonzo. There is no one that will out work Gonzo. His sense of humor, unique ideas, and execution will compliment Nick perfectly.

I truly beleive the Oprano family, and its advertisers will benefit tremendously from the new owners!

I look forward to watching and participating with the rest of the Oprano family.

Nope. He might have implied it. You inferred it. I doubt it's true.

Good luck with the board! I hope I am still allowed to be obnoxious.

Hey, Grimmie, hey Todd, hey Mikey! It's the old evening and night crew!

Don't feel bad, Gonzo, I go back eight years...when dinosaurs roamed the net. If I told you my ex-partner's name, you'd know me in a second. lol

I'll be around as often as I can. The new design is sleek and kickin'. Good job, y'all.

Holiday Episodes on FOX!

Haha, you said North Pole... What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a double-dose of animated cheer? FOX will be airing back-to-back episodes of Family Guy on Friday, Dec. 10th starting at 9/8c. The holiday block will kick off with “A Very Special Family Guy Freakin’ Christmas” and will be followed by “When You Wish Upon a Weinstein”, airing for the first time on broadcast television. Does that count as a new episode? I’m gonna say yes. And you thought you could have the holidays without Gene Simmons and a Las Vegas bar mitzvah…

Santa, Is That You?

Word on the street (and of course by street, I mean the hygienic FOX offices) is that a new Family Guy DVD set will be hitting the shelves just in time for the holidays. "Family Guy: The Freakin Sweet Collection" will consist of episodes hand-picked by Seth MacFarlane and will be loaded with all-new extras. Available on December 14, 2004. Stay tuned for more info…
