And no, it wasn't one made out of metal.

waiting... waiting... getting annoyed.... waiting some more... calling - and was told that it will take 48 hours because it's a new bank. Then I was told that they didn't send the payments out until after 2pm on the 1st, so.. more waiting... some more waiting, waiting some more even... then 2pm hits, 3pm hits. nothing.

I login, and see this :


We’ve just identified that the problem with the ACH delay was as a result of a failure in the file format for the transmission of our ACHs to the new commercial bank. As part of the failure, a large portion of ACHs were rejected and another portion of clients received partial payments. Our IT and Accounting Departments are working diligently with our commercial bank to resolve this issue.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone that continues to support us.

so i call. I ask what's up. I ask, do they know we're programmers? Do they know that if part of the ach transfers went, then it's obvious that one of your " file formats " was working just fine. Then I confirmed that once they get their shit together, it'll be another 48 business hours until the ach payments clear. I asked to speak to a manager. She said, " I am a manager " I asked, do you believe it? be honest... she said, " yah I believe it. " Then I told her that perhaps ibill should consider cutting regular old checks for us ach people still waiting, and then they can take all the time they want to figure out their mess. She said, she'd mention it. I thanked her for her time, told her to have a nice night and hung up.

I feel screwed. So, now i sign in again... and I see this :

We have successfully reformatted the ACH transmission file and our commercial bank has confirmed receipt. All rejected ACH transfers were resent and another partial payment was transmitted to make up the difference for clients that previously received a partial payment.

So.. i get a merchant account... and I ask to have all my rebills transfered and my account rep says, no problem we can do that. We initiate the transfer about 3 weeks ago. She says it'll take a few days for them to show up in the new master account cmi. i wait. nothing happens. I'm still checking the old cmi and they're still being billed so i figure maybe they are keeping them there but billing me accoring to my new ibill gateway only plan. So i write to her, and she says, 45 of your rebills have to stay on the old account because they were rebilled on gkard and now we can't move them. Oh, and you also get to make an extra 1200 a year in fees from these rebills, how convenient that they just got LOCKED in, because you guys fucked up and couldn't move them when you said you would 3 weeks ago, before they all rebilled in nov. grr.

Well, I didn't actually take advantage of the epoch freebie week. I blew it. I read about it on another forum but I was sort of stunned and did nothing. I ended up getting a merchant account for 350 to startup, 2.25% + .25 per transaction, so i'm pretty happy with it. I use ibill as a gateway because authorize.net doesn't have subscription options. I cut my fees in 1/2 so, it's ok. I also have the gkard option set up with ibill if i ever need a back up and want to use it, it's ready to go.

any massage with work at this point. I'm just sore...

In fact, when i use ibill as only a gateway I lose the revshare options. When i use Gkard i get revshare but lose a chunky %. So, can anyone recommend a good affiliate program, that I can run myself? Or, are there any other " partnership program services " around ?
