I make friendly wagers with friends when I have my team involved.

I also do big games - NCAA championships, Superbowl, etc.

Some of my friends are seriously addicted - Sunday is a huge day for them, they can outlay anywhere from 3-10k (I have a few of them who gamble large) on games. Betting everyday on NBA games, etc.

I don't much bet on teams that I care about, it's too painful if I have to bet against them.
