Today is day number 3. My brain is startin to feel better, no more headaches or stomach aches, getting work done alot faster too.

I'd had at least 3 drinks (often over a dozen) everyday for the last 4 months up untill monday.

I've decided no more booze except friday and saturday, or special occasion, or some thursdays at the blues club.

Now I know why people stop drinkin', ya make more money and feel better. :)

Thanks.

Think the most I ever did was my birthday, 30-40 over the whole day. My brain felt fuzzy for a couple days. Like...holding a pen felt different (had this happen many times, kinda scary).

If you are drinking everyday, you need a new hobby.

Grogan,

You gonna make it to Vegas this year now that you're legal?

I hear that they give you free booze there.

Umm, steve-o, hate to point this out, but this isn't "stopping drinking". It's a nice step in the right direction, but if you make exceptions, then every day will be an exception.

Stop drinking. Period. Take a month off totally. At the end of the month, think about it.

Then you will know what it is like to stop.

I'll probably never stop drinking for more than a month.

Friday will be my first friday in like a year with no alcohol.
