Just wondering.

lololol... so far four votes all spread out....

The reason I asked is because I went there for like the second time ever today and I saw a lot of familiar faces, so just got me wondering who all posts over there (in other words, what, if anything, am I missing?) and I didn't want to have to look through tons of threads or go find a member list or anything...

Well, I think I figured that part out. I have an old sic id and I think that is why I am on the mailing list.

I had a nick there from when it first opened - a company I was repping for at the time had purchased an ad there so I was obligated to post...

i have a nick and post over there when it is brought to my attention that someone is asking about me. i have no problem with posting on his board, he is a friend of mine, has never done me wrong. not my situation. Doesnt seem to be nearly as much posting there as here. More interesting chatter here too. Plus it doesnt hurt that half of the owners of this board is a vested partner in multiple businesses, and all around nice guy:)

Good question.... long answer...

The short [edited] version is that it ultimately was not renewed.

Unfortunately CPW on most boards these days isn't what it used to be - you can't just slap up an ad and expect it to perform. While branding IS important - there are other factors to consider than just over-exposing your logo all over the 'Net. I've been fortunate to work with smart program owners who understand this and therefore did not waste good money on poor ROI for long... hopefully there will be some unique advertising opportunities made available within the industry in the near future - somebody needs to start thinking out of the box.
