Have you read a Modest Proposal? I hope the guy was just having fun with it. The US is stronger with blue and red states together. Our diversity is what makes us stronger - and gives us things to mock the other colors with.

As a class, liberals no longer are merely the vigorous opponents of the Right; they are spiteful enemies of civilization's core decency and traditions.

The truth is, America is not just broken--it is becoming irreparable.
BUSH USA is predominantly white; devoutly Christian (mostly Protestant); openly, vigorously heterosexual; an open land of single-family homes and ranches; economically sound (except for a few farms), but not drunk with cyberworld business development, and mainly English-speaking, with a predilection for respectfully uttering "yes, ma'am" and "yes, sir."

GORE/KERRY USA is ethnically diverse; multi-religious, irreligious or nastily antireligious; more sexually liberated (if not in actual practice, certainly in attitude); awash with condo canyons and other high-end real estate bordered by sprawling, squalid public housing or neglected private homes, decidedly short of middle-class neighborhoods; both high tech and oddly primitive in its commerce; very artsy, and Babelesque, with abnormally loud speakers.

Bring it on, cocksucker. :salute: :uzi: :kapow:

Mike, he wasn't...
look at the very bottom of the page who he is:

Mr. Thompson is the past chairman of the Florida Conservative Union.

Serge, I have no idea who that is or what group that is. I know its hard for you to understand, since you switch sides so fast - but some of us have core convictions that we were raised with.

If you want to attack anyone for my beliefs, I suggest you start with my family. Granny, my parents, my uncles, etc....

It must suck to switch to the wrong side at the wrong time.... joining a sinking ship, which is about to implode.

Serge you are getting to be like Al Gore - he has figured out how to time being a loser down to a science. Remember when he jumped on the Dean bandwagon?

I know, I know...and I feel sorry for the lamb with no brains of their own,
who are incapable of analyzing events on their own and use dogmas they were brought up with a shield against realities.

If I was from that stock,
I'd be still living in USSR and believing in Communizm.
I guess some people are CAPABLE of LEARNING and some are not....

Are YOU capable of learning or you gonna die with your dogmas of the child years fully intact?

(quick test: do you beleive in Santa Claus? I'm sure you were brought up believing he was responcible for your Xmas gifts)
;-)))

Serge you learned so much so fast.... Maybe you can teach me, since I apparently don't have your amazing capacity.

You are like a woman always trying to keep up with latest fads....

It is ok Serge, I will be here when you come back.

It must be tough to live life without any core beliefs.... a rudderless ship caught in the trade winds. Should I bring my outboard?

ahhh...Capitalizm...

The KGP arrested the new political group who claimed to fuck everybody and everything.

During the investigation,
they were debriefing the leader of the group:

KGB: Is it true that you fuck our Communist Leader teaching?
-Yes, it's true, we fuck it!

KGB: Is it true you fuck everything what the Communist Party provided the workers with?
-Yes, we fuck it too!

KGB: What about money???
- moneywe on't fuck.

KGB: And where is logic in that???
-Logic we FUCK!

it is always easier to be told what to do or think, than to reason your way to thoughtful commentary.

Staunch immovability is not a sign of loyalty inasmuch a sign of refusal to even consider another way of thinking, because that might get you "labeled"

Adherence to a party line out of tradition or pride is tantamount to sin against what makes this country great.

It is a shame how many things get overlooked when ones judgement is clouded by such things.

but in such climate, it is considered "flip flopping" to change ones mind, or straddle an issue, or beleive some things right and some things left. If i am pro choice, that makes me a liberal, where on economic issues i am conservative. but according to some, im a liberal.

Matt, I have more respect for people who beleive in something and are consistent. Liberal is not bad, I just ask people to be consistent - and not base their opinions based on weekly polling data.

but what of people who base their opinions on information, history, research. I do not watch fox news. I do not watch CNN, i do not watch any news programs, i paid absolutely no attention to polling data. In fact, i posted many times debunking pollsters, specifically straw polls.

I dont respect those who stick to an agenda that is wrong to the core, simply to stick to it. such steadfastnest gives us the hitlers, the alexanders, the ceasars, the czars. I do not want a constitutional monarchy. The current climate in this country does not bother me. What is to come may bother me, it may encourage me. But im not tammy Wynette, there is no "stand by my man" to be played at this dance. If Bush fucks this up, I will regret giving him more time.

Thats the problem with a democracy. If it all goes to shit, the only fingerpointing will be to ourselves.
