A CLEAR victory is what marketed wanted, even if it had been Kerry. Thought I think the markets will always prefer tax cutters.

no, not the markets, the crowds who react to the news...
Historically,
markets did better under Democrats than Republicans,
more recessions happened under Republicans than Democrats.
