From Debka.com

DEBKAfile’s special sources report: Palestinian Authority finally admits Arafat’s condition serious - as DEBKAfile has reported since Saturday. Palestinian leader, 75, refuses to leave his Ramallah HQ.

Tunisian medical attendants have improvised a makeshift sickroom for minor diagnostic procedures under partial anesthetic. They insist on full-scale tests in overseas hospital before deciding if he has cancer.

Mubarak and Qaddafi have phoned to inquire about his health. Our sources report Arafat dozes most of day and holds no more than one meeting.

I'm thinking alot of long time leaders are going to be kicking the bucket in the next few years.. many are getting on in age.

Lets put a list together
Chirac
Castro
Saudi King and crown prince
Mubarek
Mandela < he'll outlive all of the above

He might already be dead... I would think the people around him will keep him "alive" until they got their new leader in place...

watch for the next fght over there
where to bury him.
He wants to be barried on temple mount in Jerusalem.
Israel will never allow this
i would just put him into a tunner under Rafah where he was born.

although, if he kicks the bucket, we have to wonder what his successor will do...will he be better or worse?

I predict Castro and Arafat will both kick the bucket in 2005.

... Oh, and the Pope too. Seriously.
