For me , this just like the Kerry ads confirms my total disgust for politicians.

9/11 is nothing more than another political tool for these total waste's of good oxygen.

What the people that lost someone in 9/11 should really be asking is why are we wasting money and manpower in a country that had nothing to do with it, instead of using those resources to get the people behind it.

But I guess that is too much honesty to hope for from politics.

I'm a voter in what has become a swing state
I think GW is digging himself deeper and I went from begrudgingly voting for Kerry to feeling Bush will dig himself and our country deeper...

I've also mobilized some first time voters at UNLV and even some of my family members who've not cast a ballot in years will be heading to the polls.

Hopefully Kerry is only a one term President after McCain gets the Republican nomination in 2008

I used to wonder if Bush was an evil genius in one of those "he can't possibly be that stupid" ways to make everyone underestimate him. Now, I think he's just an idiot flailing away in the darkness...kind of like someone drowning and panicking and almost pulling their would be rescuers in with them...

I'm a hardworking, caring father who devotes nearly as much time to his children as his job. I attend all of their school functions and am on the PTA board and am active in their school.

I not only preach charity, I actually practice what I preach. I give a shit that my kids will have clean air to breathe and clean water to drink. I give a shit that we don't have the nation's nuclear depository in our backyard, especially given the track record of the Bush administration on environmental issues. The idiots digging the holes for the tunnels to transport the waste underground couldn't even supply their own employees with the proper ventilation masks, how can we trust them to store NUCLEAR WASTE? As I've pointed out many times, the trails to Yucca Mountain go through just about every state in the union...guess where the terror targets will be? Not the site, but the rails used to transport all that waste here. Did you see that map I posted? It goes through your backyard. How do you feel about nuclear waste going through your backyard with an administration that doesn't have any plans for protecting those railways?

Just because I like women with tattooes and multiple piercings and think Dario Argento is a better director that Alfred Hitchcock, it doesn't mean I'm ignorant of the issues. It doesn't make me the fringe. If I were the fringe, I'd be voting for the anarchy party or maybe the prohibitionist party.

So I might have to pay the government a few more dollars in taxes if Kerry gets in, I'd rather that than have to worry about whether W will start a world war to cover his own fuckups and stupidity. There was a time where I almost would have voted for him, but I just could never in good conscience cast a vote for someone who has the religious right so firmly in their pocket and wasted so many soldiers' lives in a bullshit dick waving war. Maybe if he had actually ACTED like he gave a shit about going after Osama Bin Laden after all of the rah rah bullshit was over in the nation's eyes regarding Afghanistan, I might even have a couple extra doubts.

If he doesn't care about losing my vote, why am I getting 2-3 calls per day from his automated telemarketing system? ;-)))

in all seriousness though, I explained how their vote actually does count. Not just nationally (I love being in a swing state ;-)) but locally. There are a lot of local issues that very much impact our lives here in the greater Las Vegas area and Nevada in general. We have some very important issues on the ballot locally that could be decided by a small % of votes.

One thing I saw yesterday on MSNBC - they had some guy from Gallup poll who said Bush would win Nevada by double digits...

Better start doing some more politicing to get some more voted for Kerry.
