I have been pulling for the Yankees in this years ALS. It is not that I am a huge
Yankees fan, though they do have spring training here in Tampa.

I have primarily been pulling against the Red Sox, I have never really liked them, and since Kerry always mentions them it was easy to root against them.

It felt nie to see Yankees go up 3-0.... but I have to give credit the Red Soxs are fighting back. Tonight's game will be huge.

I just hope this does not fortell the Presidential race....

It was a good move by Seattle. Rice will bring rings with him, he can show the whole team what it takes to go to next level.

Dan,

We agree on something :) LOL

I love our RB, and our defence is doing pretty good. We just need to be able to convert better then last week on the OFF.

New England is a tough customer but I think we had chances to pull it off :(

Forget the Yankees-Sox, though it's a great series., the game you need to worry about is the Green Bay-Washington game the sunday before the election. History shows that idf washington loses to my beloved Packers Bush will lose the election.

Monday night had two awesome ball games ... wasn't really happy with the results of the NL game :(, but with the AL on Fox, the NL on FX, and the Rams on ABC, I damn near broke my remote and ended up with carpal tunnel of my right thumb.

GO CARDINALS

btw ... When the revolution comes, Tim McCarver will be broadcasting Little League games in Puerto Rico.

I agree 100%
I fucking hate Tim McCarver with a passion
I think Bob Costas should beat his ass with a tire iron and take his job

This Red Sox-Yankees series has been a great series. I gotta love the lack of class the Yankees fans showed though....

The Astros-Cardinals series is great as well

3 teams with their own post season horror stories/tales of woe and the Yankees who might be minus a few coaches and players after tonight's game if they lose...what a postseason

Nah, see your twisting my words.....

Kerry = Liberal

Kerry is a huge Red Sox fan, he mentions them all the time. That is why I am pulling against them. I was gleeful when it looked like a sweep....

If the Red Sox curse can be beat, then Kerry could overcome his curses ( being a Mass. liberal).

I have to admit that I certainly admired Tim McCarver a hell of a lot more when he was a Cardinal catcher than I do as an announcer. Of course, growing up in St. Louis, listening to Harry Cary and Jack Buck, you get kinda spoiled.

I was down in Boston in the mid 70s, watching a game in a bar - mentioned I was at Game 4 of the '67 World Series when Gibson beat them (one of the three he beat them that year). I don't think anybody there but the bartender talked to me after that.

The Cardinals still have one more to go; the Yankees are about to be toast.
