You are going on a picnic

It’s a beautiful day. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the weather is perfect. You’re going on a picnic. Where will you go, who will you bring and what will you take?


I’m taking my honey, PJ. We’re packing up the kayaks- fresh baguette, babagonosh<eggplant dip-not sure how to spell>, tomatoes and basil, olive tapenade, mango, guavas and a bottle of white star. We’re going to paddle down fish eating creek to an island hammock where there’s a huge banyan tree, nice sandy beach and a place to build a fire. What a nice day.

A few years back I invited this girl I just met to go camping. I was living in the Adirondacks at the time. I pulled up in a 30 foot Motorhome. Now that's my idea of camping. I'd liek to get another one but maybe a 5th wheel this time with a Toy Box in the back to load up all my shit.

Anyhow, this weather is really nice. I hope everyone in Florida is enjoying it.

This is the weather that we live here for.

After this year's storm season I'm getting to go camping without leaving my home.

Fresh air, construction dust, insects everywhere, huge holes in the walls, the sound of power tools, butt cracks everywhere, building inspectors ringing doorbells, roof tar a dripping, I love the smell of fresh paint in the morning.
