Ok, so if what do you think is the most important issue to you this election year and will you vote for Bush, Kerry or someone else...

And yes, all you ferners can take part too because we, here in the US, recognize the fact that what we do here effects the rest of the world and what you do has absolutely no effect on us :yowsa:

J/k...

fuck, this thing is not allowing me to do as many poll choices as I wanted, so I am gonna have to pare it down some....

my original was:

terrorism and homeland security - will go with Bush
terrorism and homeland security - will go with Kerry

gay marriage - will go with Bush

abortion - will go with Bush

environment - will go with Bush

Too many choices.....

I am assuming everyone knows where I am standing. There is one issue that stands about all others.

Most important issues to me:

1. Terrorism/Security. Probably not much different in the way either side would handle the issue
2. Taxes. Bush by far.
3. Social issues. Kerry by far.
4. Economy. Toss-up. One thing's for sure. They are both going to spend too much.

Yucca Mountain
Environmental issues

I have no doubts that are current and former administrations stop numerous attacks or attempted attacks everyday that we'll never hear about for National Security reasons....
September 11th, someone was asleep at the wheel somewhere...had that attack been thwarted, would terrorism be an issue? No one (amongst voters) really seemed concerned the first time the WTC was attacked....should that have been the point we started caring more about it?

If we continue to let our water and air to become polluted, we might not have to worry about terror attacks...

so, my vote is for Kerry
this will be my first non-Libertarian vote in a long time...
I only wish I could go to the polls and make my first non-Libertarian vote be for McCain

Just always remember

IF YOU VOTE
YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN

When I (a f'ing porn slinger) am a clear cut better choice than either of the candidates
What does that say for/about the candidates.......

No vote is a vote for apathy :)

I agree, the machine is in place, doesnt matter who is behind the wheel.

I think other issues are the most important, and i am disturbed that these issues (crime, health care, education, etc). are not on tv more. we are governed by fear, fear is what gets ratings, so fear is on tv. and all we watch is fear. what is keeping us so scared, when your kids are coming home sick, and you cant take them to the doctor. and you just added your 5th deadbolt to the front door.

According to a CNN/Time poll (I can't find a link, saw it on TV last night) right now the economy is the most important issue followed by terrorism.
