Sales tax will be deductible from federal taxes

I was out of town for a few days and didn't see this posted. The Senate passed a bill that will make sales tax deductible on federal income tax.

They need more reform then this.

A flat tax system, with somebased on consumption would be great.

It will never get past the CPAs and lawyers, but it would be revolutionary.

When does this take effect? I am so glad our government makes bookkeeping so easy.... o, yeah, that was paperwork reduction. I see tons of more receipts in the shoebox:-)

A flat tax would be heaven.. probably not in our lifetime though..

I know I'll be taking advantage of this one. That is actually a very good one... just a pain to actually figure out.
