I have never done the Dark Side/Oz thing. My ADD is too bad to watch a movie while listening to just music for 2+ hours :(

Oh hell, yeah. I've watched it a half dozen times or so. Most of them in college.

Start the CD right after the third roar of the MGM lion. When the CD finishes, pause the movie. Restart the CD. After 8 seconds into the first song, unpause the movie. When the CD finishes again, perform the same procedure again.

Mine to although...

Have you heard the sad news?

Its being remade.. another classic movie thats going to get fucked up for the sake of the corporate dollar.

The even scarier thing than that though is that todays generation of kids (of which im hardly past myself) is going to think that this new version is the only version of the movie :(

I cant wait till they do remakes of Casablanca, Gone With The Wind, Dr Chivago etc etc.....

Half a dozen times huh? Must be worth it then.. I'll have to give it a try sometime. Boggles my mind how people come up with this stuff.

I actually look forward to seeing the remake.. I liked the original movie. In my mind a remake won't take away from it. I understand that Johnny Depp was up for the leading role. He did a great job in the pirate movie I'm curious to see how he would do in this one.

Bishop..

I used to think that way myself but take a look at some of the recent remakes that have hit our screens...

The Italian Job, The Ladykillers, Peter Pan, Dawn Of The Dead, Chainsaw Massacre, etc etc, the list goes on and on.

Classic movies that, imho (and thats all it is) were ruined.

How long until they remake Breakfast At Tiffanys and cast Brittney Spears as Holly Golightly [Audrey Hepburn]. You know its going to happen lol

A good starting point would be The Italian Job with Mark Wharlberg ;)

But before you watch the remake, watch the Original with Michael Caine first, youll appreciate what i mean a whole lot more ;)
