George Mason University canceled plans to have Michael Moore speak on campus five days before the presidential election. The decision came after a Republican state legislator wrote a letter to the university president protesting the school's paying Moore $35,000. A school spokesman said they determined it wasn't the most appropriate use of public funds.

Don't think so.
If Moore was smart, he would wave the fees and offer the talk for free.
