View Full Version : Are spammers getting dumber?

I have noticed a trend, a very stupid one at that... I have a regular list of spammers that send me stuff pretty much 10 times per day. Many of them have shifted to sending the same thing anywhere from 3 to 20 times in a row, all together. So I will get a flurry of EXACTLY the same thing, for exactly the same product, all mailed to EXACTLY the same email address, up to 20 copies at a time.

Are these people morons?

Actually, the ones that really annoy me are the Russian ones that send their spam out.. in Russian LOL

Whilst that is okay for webmasters such as Serge most webmasters today dont even comprehend the Eglish language properly nevermind a language such a Russian LOL

I have seen a huge rise in spam the past few weeks. A majority of it the same stuff, and mostly non-porn.

Might be time to get a new e-mail address.

I've noticed mortgage/refinancing shit is getting through filters really easily these days. It accounts for about 75 percent of the spam i receive lately.

I'm wondering how much of this spam is sabotage?
I'm getting a lot of spam without links...so it's either one company trying to fuck their competition on the Can Spam act or just a bunch of incompetant fucks.....
or maybe just checking for bounces...
