For $5 Billion, I will shut down my Weather Machine. You have 48 hours to signal your agreement to my terms.

It's always about oil, Colin; you know that. Or as we say here in Luziana, earl. It's all about earl.

That's one way of looking at it... either way, everyone hold on tight - looks like you'll have your hands full again this weekend.

I was suppose to get my fence replaced this weekend. I told them that they better wait until next weekend.

They are almost finished removing the damaged trees today and grinding the stumps.

Guess it is good that they can't start on the roof until the 30th.

Waiting until tomorrow afternoon to decide if I need to put up my storm shutters again.

This was from yesterday.

I'm over hurricanes. Before next year's hurricane season I'm making sure that my trees are well trimmed and that I have a generator for my house.

I am really looking forward to the way my house will look in about 4 months.

OK, I know I'm not supposed to think this because, after all, you're dealing with a major catastrophe and trust me, I DO feel really, really bad for you, but this is STILL a cool picture! :)

Took me about 15 years to grow those trees and the really shaded my house so they will be very much missed. Before the trees it was always very hard to get that side of the house cool in the summer afternoon. The fact that the addition which is my bedroom was built with a flat roof didn't help. I am putting in lots of insulation when the ceiling is replaced.

I'm having the very large ficus that is in my backyard trimmed way back so that it hopefully will not fall on the other side of my house in the next storm.

I also have some oaks and a few more olive trees but they seem to do well in storms so I'm just having the broken branches trimmed.

We didn't have all these storms before a Republican Bush became governor of Florida.

Looks like hurricanes hate the Bushes.

The hurricane is coming because MikeAI is back in Tampa.

I told you Mike, you should stay in NO until November and we will be fine!

Katie can stay though, I'll keep an eye on her :yowsa:
