Anyone here from/near chicago?

If you didn't see the post on gfy, I'm looking to see who is in or near chicago and might be interested in comming to a chicago webmaster event. We'll be renting out a large room in a bar or a whole bar/club, depending on how many would like to attend. I'm shooting for the late october/early november.

There seem to be more than a few interested already, and I only posted this about 3 hours ago.

Chicago is only 3 or 4 hours from me - I would love to go, but I have a date with my doctor for surgery Monday & will be out of commission for 4 to 6 weeks. Bummer!!!!!

excellent, i'm having a pre-reg page set up right now. we'll have everyone who is interested sign up, then book the place tha can hold that many people, then have people put in their dues (should be between 20 and 45 bucks for the bar rental/drink special). clearly i'm not making any money off this, I thought it was going to be like 10 people but it very well may be more like 70-80.
