Nice pics Serge; pity you didn't get down to Muchen, northern Swartzwald is nice but southern Bavaria is much better IMO...

Hit Neuschwanstein and see what that nut Ludwig built, can walk up or take carriage ride... then swing down to the Austrian border and stayover at Berchtesgaden... if you go down in the bunkers and figure out what that huge iron box was for, please lmk.

The Salzbergwerk (salt mine) tour is quite enjoyable, you'll like the slide...

Schloss Hellbrun is right over border by Salzburg and the art lover in you will kick yourself if you miss it... It's magical... Note: sit at head of table only if you are pansy... pick middle seat on the side if you are brave fellow... ;)

Just noticed your pics from Germany, Serge.

If you're to visit Germany a little more extensively, I recommend you visit the south-west province of Baden Wurttemberg (http://www.baden-wuerttemberg.de/english/).
Imagine the combined German and French influence on the food and drink. You'll be very impressed. I speak from experience, as I lived in this area for 4 years.
