No No No No No !!!!

Dammit

If I have to make a trip down to Fort Myers I want to relax, not do repairs.

Condo made it through Charlie pretty much ok, just a little leak.

Haven't heard anything yet as to whether the perpetual wind called Frances did anything to it.

Don't need another one coming anywhere near there for a while.

(Go to Houston Ivan, go to houston.....)

If I actually believed in God I might think the people of Florida pissed him off somehow!! This is nuts. I assume that if this hits FL again that you would have to go back pretty far to see a similar back-to-back-to-back hurricanes in such a short amount of time. :(

This one looks like it's going to get loose in the gulf, so who knows where it'll go ashore. It's at least a week away.

Hmmm....

Mike goes to Miami....Charley follows him.

Mike goes home to Tampa...Frances cuts all the way across the state to pay him a visit.

If Ivan follows you to Nawlins they may not let you back into Florida until hurricane season is over.

damn that trak changed a lot. Last night when I looked, it was dead on for Fort Myers with an arrival time of Sunday 8pm. Went to sleep last night thinking, ok, if I take off in the morning, stop and buy plywood up here loca and then drove I could be there tomorrow morning. Get the windows shutered...etc... Planning a whole marathon session to get down there, boarded up and out of there before the storm hit.

Then I see this morning that they are now calling for a sharper turn right up the glades. This keeps up, by tonight it will be out of the gulf and streaming up the Atlantic....

This just fucking blows, pun intended.

So much for buying a new car. I'm gonna go buy a beater till Hurrican season is over.

This is Crazy!

Jamaica is about to be wiped out.

REMEMBER... NONE of the previous 2 hurricanes has followed the path they plotted this far out. It has always turned off a bit. Noone in Florida is safe at the moment. The only good thing is that this storm is more the size of Charley, rather than Frances. The Damage will be limited to a much smaller area, albeit it much more damage.

I am looking for tomorrows forecast before I decide what to do.

MikeAI, You might have visitors in NO soon!

This is a little worse for Tampa, however still puts a BIG hurt on south Florida. Being on the east side of the storm is no fucking good!

When I woke up my sprinklers were one. I killed the power to the pump so that they don't come on again for awhile. I figured my yard was not going to be in need of water for quite sometime.

It used to be fairly nice out here in the desert (despite the blistering heat), but recently the neighborhood has kind of gone to shit... strange, property values were rising like mad but since last weekend a cloud of doom seems to have moved in.... any idea what could have caused that Gonzo?

I really feel for those who already lost everything in Charley or Frances.

Those who lost it with Charley are just starting to get their lives in order... Looks like it's going right through there again.

I hope it misses Tampa, but I really feel for those it hits.

I understand that hurricanes are "a fact of life" in Florida, but I just wish folks had time to catch their breath and recover before the next one rolls in to town... this is quite a beating. Hope this one isn't as bad as it looks!

we have to count a a weak Low, the weaker the Low, the farther WEST it will go

Yes, God is saying ... "Four years ago Jeb and George rigged the election and I let it slide. Y'all try it again this year and I'll fuck Florida up! And I'm God, I can do it!"
