We were supposed to have a big family get together this weekend for Labor Day. More than half are from central FL and are trying to decide if they're going to go back and try to protect the houses (they've been here for several days so didn't prepare) or if they're going to stay here.

It would suck if it went into the Gulf.


My plan was to ride it out here. If there is mass power outage and problems, I will just pack the dogs in the car and head to NO.

The problem is if it hits the gulf, I don't want to drive into it.....
