As some of you know, I've been vocal in my opposition to the Yucca Mountain project and i wanted to find mre thorough information and sources before posting things said on local news broadcasts that may or may not have been editorials disguised as news.

That nuclear waste is going to go through a lot of backyards....and I don't think terrorists would target the dump site as much as I do the transportation route....and we can't guard the whole route now can we?
Some of these routes are a little older, so a few have changed, but not by much. When some senators, including John Kerry first approved of Yucca Mountain, or the "Screw Nevada" bill, they suddenyl felt these routes needed to be changed....
At least when Kerry was here, he fessed up to voting for it but said based upon new information not available to him, he opposed it. Is it a flip-flop or a mind change? I don't know, but I know Bush doesn't really give a fuck about it, but he should as it's going right through the great state of Texas....
