Hopefully it will dissipate before it hits land.. the in-laws have only just fixed up their house from the wrath of Charley luckily he missed us but if this keep going on course it would end up in our area :(

Regards,

Lee

Is the weather getting more extreme due to global warming or is the weather just normal, while we keep telling us self, that the weather was much better years/decades ago? (selective memory?)... anyone know?

There are long term tropical weather patterns related to sea temperature, ElNino/La Nina, tradewinds, upper level winds, the Atlantic High and the African rainy season. This is called the "multi-decadal signal". The Atlantic entered the above normal signal beginning in 1995. Prior to that, the last such period was the 50s and 60s culminating in Camille.

Sigh.... I am getting parinoid. Maybe it's KK fault.... ahahahahaha

Flying into Tampa Wed night, going to Cape Coral/Ft Myers on Thursday - SUPPOSED to be spending the weekend on a houseboat at Key West. So, if it hits either Florida coast - my plans are screwed......

I'm on the redeye in Thursday morning and out on Thursday night at the moment. But if all goes well, I'll definitely be back to visit you guys!

And if it's bad weather once I get there, I'll call you to come pick me up and I'll hang out ;)

KK - I am in Orlando. Give me a call if you have any time.

I am still recovering after this Charley. I have been working 10 - 20 hours the past couple of weekends fixing up our rentals. We has some leaks at some of the houses and it is impossible to find a roofer (booked for weeks/months). Another one would be crazy!

Luckily my house was fine.

Jesse, email me your number - - kimmy at epassporte.com

If I miss the flight I'm supposed to go out on, I'll have at least 3 hours to kill, maybe more so we can hang!
