And I thought it was pretty good. Worth the price of a matinee ticket anyway.
You could tell it was shot on a pretty low budget, but the psychological terror was ever present, as were the creatures beneath the sea. LOL

GQ says, "The best shark movie since Jaws" but I wouldn't go that far. Still, it was pretty good.

How many shark movies has there been since Jaws? haha

I can't think of one. I like it when low budget movies do well.. not that I can remember the last time I went to the movies.. maybe the last Lord Of The Rings.

It's gotten great reviews, but is there enough going on to keep your mind off the fact you're watching two people in the water for an hour and a half?

all I know is that the hottie in the movie shows bush near the beginning......
a lot o thee online reviewers (whose movie opinions more closely resemble mine) loved pointing that out...

I'll still probably go see it, but thinking of seeing the new Exorcist prequel tomorrow night instead....or maybe I'll just go see Napoleon Dynamite again ;-)))

That's a good point Peaches. However they do manage to pull it off fairly well by showing you all the different moods they are going through over the course of the almost 24 hours that they are stuck in the water.

I once watched a boat sink for three and a half hours in a movie theater.
