Incredible! I have to admit, you and I sometimes don't have the same taste in art...OK, rarely :awinky: But I love that! :)

I didn't realize it was so HUGE. I don't have a wall in my whole house big enough to hang it on, lol!

well....does the artist have a description and meaning of the piece for you?

And what are your thoughts? Since you have put this into your life.

I've seen great art in alot of trendy homes around here, but I want to hear why they think its artistically worthy, and not just that its expensive. Out with it serge, let flow your thoughts of this piece.

Steve,
it was actually the other way around. He started with 15 men, like Mike's, but by eliminating 2 men, something else, and adding few elements,
we transformed it into:
Christ and 12 Apostols.
Care to guess which one is the Christ and which one is Judas?

As for it's present and future worth...I really don't know. I am getting pleasure of it on the daily basis and let my beneficiaries worry about it's future appreciation,
it's NOT my problem
;-)))

http://cotac.com/art/KIF_0217.JPG
Benderos on the right panel,
The guy who played Lucky Lucciano in the movie about "early days" of Lucciano and Mayer Lansky,

James Dean in the center on the left in the back row...

The guy to the right of the one faced the other way looks like JFK Jr. To the right of James Dean, could be Ben Affleck.

I'm glad he doesn't paint unattractive men :)

his name is James Michaels,
I do not like his contemporary work, but you can find it on Googles.
as for men in your bedroom-
might not be such a bad idea-
might scare a few burglars who venture in your bedroom in the middle of the nite and mistake it for a gang bang

The Fat Fucking Nobodies are thinking of having our own version commissioned.

Same basic theme, just add 150 pounds to all of the characters and have them lounging around at a buffet line.
