I am tempted, VERY tempted...my mother in law begged:
"If you don't vote for Bush, can you please just stay home"?

I think she would approve.....

My dad ran kinda as a hoax when I was 9, it made the papers and he got mucho new business to his accounting firm.

Anyway, I would vote for bush if I was going to vote, but he'll win illinois no problem so I'll just stay home.

I'm a registered Libertarian, but the party can't really seem to get it's shit together...so will probably be heading out to the polls and casting my vote for Kerry...

Bush is visiting Las Vegas this week, so will be interesting to hear his take on the Yucca Mountain situation which is kind my deal maker/deal breaker issue....

No question ... I'd stay home. I like Kerry more than Gore and Bush 2000 more than Bush 2004. In short, it's a draw. 52 card pickup is the game.

I've joined Vick's camp. Damned if you do .. and all that.

Fuck, I'm voting for Nick. In Nick We Trust.

yeah, I watched his speech the other night and am glad he spoke about it...
I'm just waiting to hear what Bush says about it...

It's funny how some in congress are starting to change their minds finding out the trains carrying all that nuclear waste are going throught their backyards....

they want to put all of the country's nuclear waste in a repositiory out here in the mountains...
for years they've been spending millions of dollars on propaganda about these storage canisters and how safe they were
well, most Nevadans aren't buying it (if it's so safe, why not store it right next to the plants that produce it?)

They were recently digging the holes where the tunnels are supposed to go so theycan dump all this waste and the minors out there were getting sick because of existing micro-organisms out there. These miners weren't even equipped with the proer respirators. Imagine that, they scrimp on respirators for the miners, imagine what else they are scrimping on with these big containers that are supposed to contain all of the nuclear waste.

They "think" these containers are earthquake proof, but haven't done as much testing as they were supposed to have. A lot of the tests they were supposed to do, they didn't do. They've been underhanded and just keep fucking up at every turn.

I wasn't around but have been reading about all the nuclear tests they did out here at the test site all those years ago...they invited people to sit out and watch the tests (ooh and bring the kids, it'll be educational) and now years later, they are finding out "oops, maybe it wasn't so safe after all" and people are getting sick. Up in fallon, NV it got really bad. People were dying from the pollution in the water.

These containers that will be buried in the ground will also be near the water table. Oh what fun if they crack and leak into the water supply.

All of that waste? It has to get here somehow from where they are creating it. Guess how that is going to be? By train! Yippie, we know how safe THAT is. It's also an easy, relatively unguarded target for terror attacks along the way to its final destination.

If everything is so safe, then why don't we just store it in downtown LA or New York/ We can make it into a tourist attraction. Come down and look at the nuclear waste conatiners. Bring the kids and get an autograph from Nukie, the big fluffy mascot who looks like an atom.....

Yes, the Republican Party in Illinois is in great shape right now ... you should stay home. In fact, you should encourage all your like-minded friends to stay home.
