NIck,
it's NOT after James Michaels,
it IS James Michaels and I asked him to remove 2 men because:
1) it wasn't enough negative space in there and looked a bit busy for my taste
2) number 13 is MORE classic than 15

yeap....I haven't bought a painting I didn't like, regardless of the name or price.

I'd rather have unknown I like and tell everybody it's not a Picasso than have real Picasso and tell everybody they should like it because it costs a lot

My favorite painting is the one of my daughter by our overseas friends :)

But I like things with meaning , and as I said , Jesus faces away in your painting to me , as a sign of his shunning the world. ;-))

Literally turning his back on the modern world.

The reasons you gave me however are just as convincing ;-)))

I hear that. I saw a piece recently. At a guess, i'd say the canvas was about 4 foot by 2 foot. Plain white, except for the very middle which had a 3 inch red square. Apparently, this was art, and i can't remember the exact number, but some idiot paid tens of thousands of dollars for it.

I am going to become a modern conceptual artist. Look out for work from Brendan O'Flaherty. I'm goign to lead them to believe that my fingerpainting is a deep reflection of modern society's decaying morality. It'll sell for millions.

I wonder if the weight of the cross they are building will support him. Looks like it is going to be pretty flimsy.
