First off, I'd like to thank everyone here for their prayers and well wishes for my recovery.. Docs told me yesterday that I am coming along nicely and HAVE given permission for me to attend IA so I will be seeing many of you there..
Now, for my announcement:
After a long time thinking, I've decided Not to do the adopt a child for Christmas program this year....
I have launched a site http://www.pattyeskids.com
this is is inteded to help children with MD and to give them what could be the best week of thier life and send them to summer camp (many children with MD do not live to adulthood)
the cost for that is $600 per child
and the goal is to send one child from each state
that comes to about 30k
There are a lot of kewl things on the site and more is being added daily!
I would appreciate it if you would all come have a look and remember that it IS still a work in progress
We also have a referral program, once you register, you will get a code, for each person you send you get credit towards any new purchases you may want to make....
Holiday season is right around the cornor and I intend to make this your one stop gift shop and its for a good cause..
YOU get a product you want and a child has a chance.....
