MikeAI -
Thanks for the good time and great food today! I think the highlight was watching Katie taking the bank in Poker!
I'm just glad I didn't have to clean up!

Grilled chicken
grilled chicken kabobs
grilled steak kabobs
hamburgers
filet mignon
baked potato
corn
Lukes famous spinach and artichoke dip
chips & salsa
tortillas (for a californian taco)
plenty of alcohol
and I'm sure I am missing something

I think MIke knew his place and stayed away from the grill. Luke, edd and Christian handled it. They did a great job:-)

BBQ was definately fun. Even if the weather was not the best.
As for cooking, I was giving the younger guys some grill experience. It is difficult work managing all of this, while at same time playing host.
I should have some photos up a little later.
Glad you made it by Sharky, and deposited your $20 - Katie is going shopping today with all the money she won!

Looks like it was good eating but a tad humid there.
So what's the concensus here on the ol' propane vs. charcoal school of grillin'?
I'm all about charcoal, on occasion with hardwoods added
Like a roast slow cooked in a smoker over a pan with Apple Juices and Beer in it (charcoal is past the sides on the pan) with Apple Wood chips
But I know many who do good work with propane

Gas during the week (or when i'm in a hurry) charcoal on the weekends (or when I have time)
I use both at the same time as well. depends on how much grill space is needed:-)

Actually Drav, it was raining the whole day - so it was 100% humidity.
I don't have time to do real BBQ, the built in gas grill works perfect for me.
When I bought the house, the grill was a mess - Luke tor it apart and rebuil the whole thing. Even better was the grill company sent all the parts FREE!!
I am happy to haveit working again, will be hosting monthly BBQs.
In October when weather is nice here, it will rock!
