Ha.. I think thats funny... hope it was lens that did it :P
*edit although that was regged 3 months ago... wonder how long it has been online and how many opranauts got whatever it's giving!
Be worth a check if any keyloggers are being loaded by that site before they change it... so people can be warned to check! Could be a dangerous thing to have the culprit knowing exactly who the victim is before they install the spyware.

I think its actually redirecting to netster or some such but not sure. I brought the code down through a text browser to take a peek at. Just stupid shit. Homepage setting then automatic popups to various "ad partners", at least one of which is throwing a gator download in the mix.
I've checked my box and seem to be ok...(knock on wood)
netster is a BITCH to remove - even worse than hoopers
i got hit with it a few days ago ... something funky is happening on my machine today - when outlook is open, the pc is struggling. guess what i'll be doing for the next 3 days
1 good thing about spyware/adware is that its taught me a lot of stuff about optimizing my operating system and dealing with the registry :okthumb:
I just ran adaware and came up clean, and I have no strange symptoms, so it seems it was more annoying than malicious (assuming you weren't silly enough to click 'Yes' or 'Ok' to any of their popups).

DOS Tip -
When trying to multitask doing things such as ...
1. Washing Bishop's dogs
2. Watching Ms. Bunny on HBO
3. Working on a plan to convince people that "A Fat Man can have a porn site"
...be careful what you post on Oprano. That 4 task is a killer!

netster beat me to the punch!
they scan anything that has a link (any domain they can find) and automatically check avail. of everything, multiple times a day, as far as I can figure, and anything that has been linked gets regged automatically I believe.
