Hmmm, this guy sounds like a hick driver of an old iroc.

Pretty funny.

My camaro has incredible looks, I don't agree with HIS (86 iroc) idea of "sweet ride". I have other cars too, but I share the fact that MY camaro is a "sweet ride" :P

You're absolutely right Peaches. B)

My dad had a '77 Trans Am. When I was 17 I took it over... :okthumb:

I had dreams of restoring it some day, but about two years ago I finally got rid of it. The frame had rusted through and unless I completely rebuilt it, it wasn't going anywhere. It was cool back in the day though. 6.6 Litre...

I'm older than you - this was HS in the 70's :) I don't think anyone could afford a vette :(

I remember one guy I went out with who had a beautiful baby blue metallic 60's Mustang. There were 6 boys in the family (all gorgeous) and 2 or 3 shared the car. One day their mother decide to spiff it up a bit and painted a lovely beach scene on the sides of it with sea gulls, waves, clouds, etc. Thankfully they were all comfortable enough in their masculinity to keep driving it. :awinky:

Working hard , making money.Thats what I was doing.LOL

If it made money I was involved in it.

for example...buying and selling classic cars.

I actually offered $1m for one of the 7 Daytona Ferarris , thank fuck he didn't take it cause it was worth about 25% of that 2 yrs later when the bubble busrt!! LOL

another example.... I bought a big old house in Sussex for like GBP 45,000 spent maybe GBP 15k fixing it up...sold it for 250GBP....and thats when 190kGBP tax free was a lot of money .Tax free cause it was my pricipal residence.

By your age..21?...I was a Sterling Millionaire ...and thats when GBP1m was a lot of money ;-))

read what I posted....

Moron...

you don't start making 1m

you make 10..20k...then you make 50k..then 100k...

Buy a house...fix it up..(borrowing from banks like everyone else)

make a profit...buy 2 houses...rinse repeat. ;-))

Buy anything atr the right price ...sell it at a better price.

Whilst on holiday in Scotland see a tasty Aston Martin...buy it...drive it to London and sell it for 5 k more than you paid.

Nick, I'm not insulting you, I'm just curios where you got the money for these ventures without parents.

I know some of that era have started up successfull small hotdog stands, frozen custard chains, etc.

You can't but a 500k car with 2g's in the bank, just curious how you actually started to make money, and it can't be investments where it started right? Unless you had money from parents, you can't make investments into 100k+ things.

He let me drive it though :)

I repeat...MORON!!!!!!

I've told you now 3 times how I made money.

Listen 100 times more than you talk , might be my best tip to you as to how to make money.

Financially.....

if you were bs'ing on the cars I dont care, just curiuos what young folk in that aera were doing to make real money with little investment.

By your age..21?...I was a Sterling Millionaire ...and thats when GBP1m was a lot of money ;-)) [/b][/quote]
Don't make me repeat MYSELF.

Where'd the mill come from to buy that car?

Where'd the cash for classic cars come from?

That's all Im curious about, I dont even care if it came from your parents, I'm just a curious boy.

Well, I doubt I'd impress anyone by asking you how you came into this investment money.

If you can't tell me, ok. I'm very interested in pre 98 plus businessmen, most invested family assets.

Nick I'm just curious.

How did you have a mill in the 80s, in your 20s with no parental investments.
read what I posted....

Moron...

you don't start making 1m

you make 10..20k...then you make 50k..then 100k...

Buy a house...fix it up..(borrowing from banks like everyone else)

make a profit...buy 2 houses...rinse repeat. ;-))

Buy anything atr the right price ...sell it at a better price.

please listen....

let me explain it simply

Dear grogan,

I did anything that made money.

I made money by wheeling and dealing.

I would borrow money , whatever.

I started by buying things relatively cheap and selling them on.

Fuck at 16 , a guy had a load of NewCastle Brown Ales that he could sell me for I think it was 5p a pint.

I knew I could sell them for 15p..problem ........I had no money.

I arranged to met the guys within rooms of each other

Using my buyers money , I paid the supplier.

With me now.

I WORKED my way up.

Nick, then why be so bitter? How do you think I started making money???

The same way.

I was just curious how you got yourself up to 1m in credit during the 80s, I still dont know, but if you say it was buying and selling and buying and selling, fine.

If that's how you did it....no need to take offense.

I skateboarded in the snow to go flip burgers and mop floors at a place called steaks to go.

I invested some of the money, and worked in tgps, then got a job, lying about my age, at a mortgage company.

I worked my way up there, started getting commission, made more in the online biz, and continued upwards.

I sold pot my first year in highschool as well.

I started with nothing, I was nothing.

in general though, I just want more money, because I can do more for me and for others with it, more money = more for all of my ventures, including charity.
