$3.75 - price of a 16oz. beer @ Pittsburgh Heinz Field (cheapest in the NFL)
ease the pain

$75.33 - average ticket price at New England's Gillette Field (highest in the NFL)
Got to pay to play and the Pats are big winners

$200,000 - Amount the NFL fined Lions GM Matt Millen for not interviewing a minority candidate before hiring Steve Mariucci

$0 - Amount the NFL fined Lions GM Matt Millen for calling Chiefs WR Johnnie Morton a faggot
Hmmmm minorities over gays by oh ..... $200,000

160 - Weight in pounds of Ravens kick returner Lamont Brightful, the NFL's lightest player

390 - admitted weight of Bears OL Aaron Gibson, the NFL heaviest player
Let's hope they don't collide, Gibson makes 2.475 Brightfuls

43 - age of Chief's kicker Morten Andersen, the league's oldest player

40 - age of Tampa head coach Jon Gruden, the league's youngest head coach (and he's been a head coach for 5 years)
I can still feel young, someone playing in the NFL is older than me

$952,000,000 - Estimated value of the Washington Redskins, the highest of any NFL franchise

$21,000,000,000 - Net worth of Seahawks owner Paul Allen
I want to know how the 'skins are the NFL's most valuable franchise - they do average over 80K fans at every home game though, goes to show there's no accounting for taste

and the Matt Millen thing is even more bizarre if you take into account ....

he got fined for something he DIDN'T DO
But didn't get fined for something he did??!!!

NFL is very strict, one reason they are out pacing the other leagues.

I would happily pay $75 a ticket if Saints wont 2 of the last 3 superbowls!

Interesting Aaron Brooks stats

Touchdown pass to interception ratio in 2003 - 3 to 1
24 TD passes - 8 interceptions

Yeah but the one stat the breaks this one into peices is his UNFORCED FUMBLES. he had a 3-4 which ended up killing the season last year for the Saints.

If Brooks can get this under control, he and thus the Saints will have a good season. I think they can make the playoffs in the toughest division in NFL - NFC South.

Offesive coordinater needs to be smart, and have better game plans to keep Brooks out of 3rd and long all the time.

Defense needs to stop the run.

On paper Saints have the fastest team in the NFL.... if they can take this speed and talent and turn it into something we could be set for a big year.

I am ready for NFL football....

Can't you tell????

Could be!

My dad took me to all sorts of games as a kid but never a bears game, I should make a point to see one this fall (maybe I'll take him).

That is a good idea.

Bears have a great history - and a refurbished Stadium - Soldiers Field.

Even >I< have been to a game there. ( Saints beat Bears with 30 seconds left - Ditka was coach of Saints). I took my dad as well.
