They change nothing. The historic polarization continues. Kerry 46, Bush 46.

The next president of the United States will be the luckier man, not the better one.

Interesting

Monday July 19, 2004--The latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Polls shows President George W. Bush attracting 47% of the vote while Senator John Kerry earns 45%. The Tracking Poll is updated daily by noon Eastern.

This comes as the nation's economic confidence reaches a six-month high. The Rasmussen Consumer Index, established in October 2001, is within three points of its all-time high.

As economic confidence has grown, the number of voters who give the President good or excellent rating on the economy has also grown. However, voters remain evenly divided as to whether they trust Bush or Kerry more when it comes to handling the economy.

If we're lucky, we'll have a recount again. That was interesting.

Well, as long as bush doesn't do anything stupid (like get into ANOTHER war) then things should be fairly tight. If Bush does anything else even remotely war like, I suspect Kerry would get fairly easily.

The polls are evening up mostly because Bush ain't doing anything at all right now, staying WAY low and way out of sight.

That will change come the fall.
