Sitting outside, listening to the birds and frogs, the cicadas haven't started yet, breathing in nice fresh air and figuring out what I need to do next week for advertising stuff :) I LOVE this :)

Of course, I gave my old laptop to my brother and since it's faster than the desktop my SIL uses, he set her up to use it on the wireless network. So....had I not been impatient and I was willing to deal with a P2 on Win98, I guess I could have been doing this all along....at least that's what he tells me

But I like this one just fine :)

It's dark and the mosquitos are eating away at my first level of repellent, so I'm headed back in, but next time I'll take photos. A very pretty cardinal male and female as well as a few hummingbirds and deer have been hanging out with me. And of course, the dogs

Are you insinuating I'm a dwarf? :nyanya:

Michael, I started with the Dell 9100 but it was just too bulky and big so I sent it back and got the 8600. I'm sure I could have gotten something faster, but the desktop it's replacing is 2+ years old, so it's a dinosaur which means the laptop is still faster :awinky:

I THINK the one I had was a 5100 - bought it in 1999.

It's taken awhile to get used to the wide screen, but I'm getting there! And it's great not having to copy files every time I take the laptop somewhere and the wireless ROCKS :)

It's none too pleased about the bugs flying onto the screen and into the keyboard, but it's dealing with it :)
