I was playing on nickjr.com with my daughter earlier today and noticed something new in their games area... a McDonalds game. Once we clicked it, it posted a welcome screen saying this was an advertisement from McDonalds.

I can see how this will work. They promote their happy meals and other items in these games, and make the kids ask their parents for them on their next trip to Mickey D's. Pretty interesting.

I'm wondering if this will crossover into more adult themed adverts?

How about our industry?

Not sure if Mickey D's would place ads inside of a paysite but you never know...

"OK, now that you've blown your load, hop on down to Mickey D's for a couple Big Macs and a shake to recharge!"

I wasn't really referring to McDonalds advertising in paysites, I was thinking more of other companies advertising in paysites. More of a product placement.

a model uses a certain brand of vibrator. On the page where the photo is, there is an advertisement for the same vibrator.

something along those lines

I understand what you meant, however I wonder how effective that type of advertising would be for fast food?

there are a few companies who do this, must generate quite a bit of traffic.
