does Miami become a contender this year?
I like them if they can trade for a good 3 baller, consitant outside shooter to go with their slash game, and the big man!

It was a fair trade. Shaq can extend his career by playing in the East where there are no dominating big men. I love Wade - he is one of my favorite players last year as a rookie.

Lakers did not get much in return, they will need a big man to play center if they expect to get anything done next year.

Yeah, the east is getting stronger noww too...

1.) detroit
2.) Indiana
3.) New Jersy
4.) Miami

in the west :

1.) minnesota
2.) sacramento
3.) houston
4.) san antonio

barring any new trade updates this is how I see the conferences in order of power this year

Fuck the Lakers. I like Shaq and Phil, Malone, GP and DFish. But I just can't make myself like the Lakers.

Lake show is fine, Buss is one of the elite owners in all of sports, go into Staples and look at what hangs from the rafters.

Odom is a lot better than you guys think. Buss will recruit more talent.

Lake Show will contend.

Heat will still not beat Detroit. How many times do I have to tell everyone that Detroit is a dynasty? Ben Wallace is one of the most dominant forces the NBA has seen in some time.

LOL SykkBoy

It's big news here in Florida, won't be a done deal till Wed if it's approved.

I think the Heat is paying a heavy price for a "name" overall it will energize the basketball scene and bring more fans to pack in the new American Airlines Arena, so economically yes, it's a good thing.

But honestly, I dont give two flying shits about basketball.

Go back and read Shaq's interview with the Napoleon references in it, after you put that crack pipe down.

Pro basketball? Call me when they raise the bucket 2 feet and increase court dimensions by 30%.
