Where was this???

Cheney is a liability, however dumping him now may not be wise.

I personally suspect that any benefit Bush could get from the center by dumping Cheney now would hurt him on the right, particularly among bobbleheads who can read Anne Coulter without laughing out loud. No, I am not stupid enough to think they are going to support Kerry in force, but their lack of motivation could lead them to stay home - which would be an absolute disaster for Bushy.

Cheney is the darling of the crowd that are still confused by the difference between Saddam bin Laden and Ossama Hussein, one of whom is in custody (the other, of course, scheduled to be captured during the first three days of the Democratic National Convention). These are the people that still believe in the Easter Bunny and the cache of Weapons of Mass Destruction, and who probably could be persuaded that the so-called resistance to the American occupation of Iraq is all a liberalmedialie - it's just the parades that Cheney promised (you know how them damned A-rabs like to shoot their guns).
