Meni, yes I am happy we still went into Iraq, I am confident history will prove that Bush did the right thing.
It took guts to do what he did. You may not agree with his opinion, but he acted decisively. We are in WWIII, this is merely one battle in a long war.

Meni, quite honestly I
do not think your
brain can comprehend
the nuances of
international relations.
If you would like
to be educated, rather
then parroting talking
points from stern and
the wack pack, I will
be happy to send
you some suggestions
for books.
You can start with
History of the Peloponesian
War, by Thucidideas.

Meni,
I am happy you finally realize that you and your ancestors have ABSOLUTELLY nothing in common.
Ancients Greeks were heroes, among many other noble things,
and you are a moron.

The debacle in Iraq would be a lot more palatable to the American public if the military devoted more than a token force to go after Osama Bin Laden and Al Quaida. They seem to have slipped away almost intact other than some poor bastards who had bombs dropped on their heads in Afghanistan. So forget the controversy over the invasion of Iraq- the simple fact that Bush has failed to capture Osama is in and of itself reason enough to be voted out of office in disgrace.
There's my boy Jim Gunn!!!!
the terror alert didn't RISE today
but they came out with an annoucement?

Jim you have a point, however Bin Laden is probably in the Pakistani tribal areas - do you suggest that Bush send troops there ( even against Pakistans wishes) to look for him??
Mike, he's in Saudi Arabia sitting at a pool
and Mike after 9/11
instead of full on assault on al quaida and bin laden
we invade Iraq
cha ching
$$$$$$$$$$$$$
when colin told us about WMD
why didn't the broadcast journalist question him?

Check yor timeline again.
First we tossed the Talibanout of Afganistan.
Bush's mistake - or the mistake in the Pentagon was
in NOT sending US troops into Tora Bora.
Saddam could have avoided the war
by letting weapons inspectors in.
Why do you think Saddam did not let the
inspectors do their jobs? Did Bush make
Saddam do this?
why did saddam say no to inspectors
maybe he is crazy?
maybe he stood up and said
FUCK YOU
ok AMERICA HAS WMD thats OK?
doesn't the fuckin US have WMD
you fuckin hypocrites
Mike, the taliban?
where the fuck is al aqaida?
ok and the jail in cuba
holding guys NEVER CHARGED
that is BULLSHIT
and the supreme court agrees
bull fuckin shit BUSH
bush SUCKS so fuckin bad
and all you care about is
we beat up saddam
pathetic

Mike, at this point almost three years after 9/11, it's hard to know exactly where bin Laden is and even harder to decide what to do about it. He is probaby in Pakistan, or maybe Saudi Arabia, perhaps even someplace like Indonesia. More decisive action immediately after 9/11 probably could have pinned him down. But Bush basically let him get away like most of Al Quada got away. Meanwhile, Afghanistan is still the same hellhole it aways was even without the Taliban in supreme control and our half-assed invasion of Iraq with insufficient troops dooms us to a quagmire there too.
Trying to decide what to do from this point forward is tough given the fact that we can't change the past. If we are afraid to make an incursion into Pakistan's tribal areas to get him, then we might as well just throw our hands up and admit that terrorists won't be brought to swift justice if they hide in other countries that we are afraid to mess with for whatever reason. This sets a dangerous precedent.
Meanwhile, looking at the current batch of arch-criminals who currently run our country makes me worried for our future. The U.S. is probably still the greatest country in the world, but any notion I had that we lived in a democracy where the rule of law prevailed was shattered over the last few years. Now it seem more like a third world banana republic, with powerful families passing on power to each other; nepotism and cronyism at the highest levels of government; rigged and stolen elections; and conflicts of interest abounding. As far as I am concerened, G.W. Bush is a grade-A moron, the kind of C-average fratboy you might have went to college with who coudn't pass the stripper quiz on Howard Stern despite his degree. And if even one tenth of the negative things that have been written about him are true, he ought to not just lose the election (again), but he should actually be impeached and dare I say it, be arrested for treason.

you cant ban people with different views...that would be damn near socialist, if not communist;)
Meni is great, he makes a decent point, then babbles like a monkey to ruin it.
Meni, you gotta learn the "off" switch.... when you are regurgitating what you've read, and it runs out, turn it off until you've read something else;)
