I was looking through this article, and it really seemed to me that it would likely promote wives to look around for alternatives. Interesting.

I disagree. To me, it's a wake up call to the men that don't take care of their wives. And i don't just mean paying the bills each week. I see so many guys that take their wives and girlfriends for granted. It's a wonder these chicks stay with 'em.

Maybe so. I read it, and the perspective seemed to be from an excited woman stand point.

Luckily I give Katie all the attention she can handle! :D

There's an info-mercial here for a dating/meeting site for married people that play here on TV.

its funny how they say"We do not encourage infidelity but when a mariage is not working ...bla bla bla... its ok, give us your money and cheat your heart out"

My opinion is that marriage is simply becoming unnecessary as society continues to evolve and the most primal issues of safety and security fade away making the family unit obsolete and irrelevent. Man has been on the planet for 15,000,000 to 20,000,000 years and only in the last 30-50 years have men started acting more and more like women and the trend continues (sensitive, crybaby metrosexuals) while hunting and gathering less, while women continue to act more and more independent of men and working more. Single parenting continues to rise because for the first time in the history of civilization, it can.

Family's and marriage (and subsequently monogamy) simply aren't necessary anymore for people to raise a family successfully. In fact, two homosexual males or females can now have a child together and few would bat an eye.

I think the breakdown of family and marriage will continue all over the world in developed nations. I don't think it's a symptom of a corrupt or morally bankrupt society... i think it's a natural progression in the evolution of society.

just my 2 cents
