In retrospect? Sure.
Funny thing is, I have no idea what the "explanation" is. B)

Oh, great. You're going to short me now.
Can you do Bush's approval rating or does their have to be volume?

Actually, I was going to use it the other way. ;-)
Anything that has mass participation, volume/liquidity and that trades with a high/low/close will have some dynamic pattern of price and time to it. The further I get from this, the less patterned, and hence predictable, things are for me.
I don't think Bush's approval ratings would qualify. Although, I will say right now that Bush is going to win the election despite what any of the polls suggest.
To me, polls are a fundamental.

I didn't see any that were NEAR as big at the ones at Chipotle - did I miss something? :(

Umm, y'all better make sure you got the other side covered...

Iraq, Nigeria, and other issues are starting to dry up supply and drive the price up - at the time of the year where demand is at it's lowest normally (no heating oil needs)...
This may not have been the top... just a minor correction on the way to $45 or $50 maybe?

Um, I always said from the beginning this is a correction in a bull market.
Next major low for Crude will be in November.

>> no heating oil needs
I've always wondered this
what other countries use heating oil and why oil as opposed to other types of heating ??

heating oil has been used in Canada because it was cheap... it use to be the cheapest way by far to heat a home. Now it isn't really. In my neck of the woods, electiric or natural gas would be better.
Not sure what countries use it. I know some countries use to have oil fired generators to produce electricity (and the US still have a number running on coal, go figure!).
Wig, interesting time for a bottom, November is the start of the peak demand times.
