Meni, the day I lose to the moron like you-
I'll hang myself.
moore making good point selling 1/2 baked drivel and he should THANK conservatives,
NOBODY would go and see it otherwise.
extreme groups share this common denominator:
they are dumb and create free publicity to opponents:
jews wuth passion of christ
conservatives with moore,
and liberals like you who turned me from sitting on the fence to Bush voter

Moore's movie has made less in one weekend then Tomb Raider 2!

If it was not for the hype the media is giving it, it would have done even less.
Meni, will you sit on my shoulder for halloween, I think I am going as a pirate!

in Russian : Popugai
in Spanish: Papadrillo
in English: Parrot
how do you say it in Greek?
Meni
Fahrenheit 911 did $21,800,000 in 868 screens over the weekend (which as much as I hate to admit it fair numbers)
but nothing to compare to Shrek2 which did 108,037,878 it's first week and is closing in on 400,000,000
Harry Potter which did $93,687,367 it's first week and is over 211,000,000
Or even a stupid movie like Dodge Ball which did $30,070,196 and is over 67,000,000
It's is only on 868 screens because the choice was for Lion's Gate to distribute the movie which doesn't have the reach of many other distributors
I don't know why that choice was made
I do know Fahrenheit 911 was advertised at other theaters and was pulled last week due to the distribution deal NOT BECAUSE OF ANY PLOT TO KEEP IT OUT OF CIRCULATION
In fact it gives the film more publicity and may make more people want to see it
Can you understand that???
and it's wasn't hard to F911 released
The whole Mirimax thing was a stunt for more publicity
Moore may be many things and one of them is excellent at media manipulation
Bumped for all the Moore discussions
not getting miramax to distribute was a stunt?
a stunt?
are you crazy
and why are you comparing a documentary
to SHREK 2
vick
you forgot to discuss the subject
i said
if the left doesn't like something we turn it off
if the right doesn't like something try not to let anyone see it
take radio
i don't like rush
i like stern
i dont listen to rush
the right? want stern OFF the air
500K to $3million fines for artists?
are you fucking nuts
i can dump nuclear waste and be fined less
this is a adult webmaster board
and its so far up bush's ass
what a job
of course its the least popular webmaster board
5 new threads a day?
i see 5 new threads a minute on other boards
Psssss
Meni - that means Shrek2 is more popular than F911
and in my not so fucking humble opinion much more important
Laughter, smiles on children's face and enjoyment are much more important than Moore's work -
Wanted to put it in perspective for ya B)
and I don't feel like looking it up but Moore was pretty sure miramax wouldn't distribute the movie

Fahrenheit 911 compared to Shrek2? That's not a fair comparison. What's amazing is that people are going to see a movie about politics.

Did I ever claim to be fair?
and to reiterate Shrek2 is a far more relevant and important piece of cinema than F911
