I had sat when I lived in NO. It has its advantages - NFL SEASON TICKET is one of them.

When I moved to Tampa I was pissed off I could not get SEASON TICKET on Cable. So I had to catch Saints games at a local sports bar.

They do have down time with storms, and other headaches. I prefer to stick with digital cable.

I'm pissed.
The bootleg days of DirecTV are apparently over.
I need a solution so I can watch my Colts play this coming NFL season.

Meni, I have had DirecTV in my new place in Hollywood for almost a month now, but I haven't even had a chance to program the Tivo unit it came with or watch it for more than a few minutes. The picture quality and the amount of channels is good. I have HBO, Showtime and most everything else except the sports package.

DireTV rocks and what most people don't realize is that even if weatehr moves in and starts giving you problems, which is FAR less often than what cable would have you believe, 9 times out of 10 you can just surf through the different transponders and find one that is getting the signal.

DirectTV satellite for TV is great.

Rain rarely ever bothers it.

Thunder storm activity might have it go on the fritz for just few minutes if the storm is between you and the satellite. Doesn't last long.

Hurricane? If you hear of a series of two foot flying saucers in your area, you'll have your answer.

Pissing ... try to stay off your roof when drunk. Or piss in the pool like everyone else.

I have a LOT fewer outages with my DirectTV than I ever had with my cable.

And it's not on the roof - it's smack dab in the middle of this white trash's yard, so pissing on it would be quite easy :)
