On behalf of "The Management" ...

I would like to announce the latest enhancement to the Oprano mission.

In the past I think most of you would agree that this resource is home for the big paysite owners with a mix of the Pre 2000 webmaster. As time moves foward the business changes and so does Oprano.

With that being said, please join with me in welcoming a new face and arrival into the gumbo. Oprano is pleased to announce that The Shemp will now be calling this home.

This expands our focus to include traffic and traffic related topics [such as TGPs] where we not only discuss them but we start making waves.

For those of you that don't know The Shemp ... he is good people and he brings his experience and class combined with integrity to our resource.

In celebration of his arrival I should have up on Oprano Plus later today a list of sponsors that support scumware as well as blacklist of TGP's that are forcefeeding installs to surfers.

Welcome home Shemp!

Hopefully Shemp can give some insight to the best/proper/profitable way to work the TGP market

Being I am one of the biggest detractors/opponents of the TGP segment of the market I'll be very interested to see if there is something I can learn here

That being said I've never met Shemp personally but have heard positive things about him

This is a foolish business move, no offense to Shemp.

See, Confucy said on GFY that this board was about to close down, so it's a bad business move to hire new people. :D

Some people demand respect.

Some people earn respect.

Some people just get respect.

Never met you Shemp, but in a world of bullshit, your name has never been sullied that I know of.

Welcome.

I do know many of you on Oprano already and i hope to get to know everyone very soon. There is some information about our group of sites here:

Shemp what do you think of the thumb based TGP's vs the old school link based TGPs?

i thought they were a great idea, however on many sites, they quickly became just another opportunity to CJ and blindlink surfers to places that they didnt want to go.

there is still something very appealing about clicking on a descriptive text link, as opposed to a thumbcrop of some babes face.

there are some thumb display sites, that are exceptional though, such as sleazydreams site....not a ton of thumbs, no blindlinks and quality. that would generate a large bookmark base and the revenue to go along with it....
