Land Cruiser

Anybody around here had any experience with them? Girlfriend bought a new Jeep Liberty today, and while we were looking I (being a cheap bastard) was poking around the used stuff they were going to wholesale out. After all, my pickup has 232,000 on it, so I'll need another vehicle in 100,000 miles or so.

I've either found a lemon and a half, or the deal of the century. Just wondering if anyone has ever owned one, driven one, stolen one, whatever.

They went from a V6 to an 8 at some point over the past few years. If it's a 6, that's why you're getting a good deal :awinky:

An LC is my dream car and even more so since I've heard Toyota is remaking the old LC's (more like the Wrangler) :okthumb:

Head over to edmunds.com and check their discussions. TONS of info on the LC. And of course, spend the $90-125 for a professional mechanic to check it out before you buy. I saved myself some serious headaches a couple of years ago.
