passed away from liver failure

a very "live" guy throughout his life, despite his lack of vision.

if you've never seen him on a pepsi commercial, chances are you may have seen his picture posted on a gfy thread with a broken image in it.

I first remember seeing him in blues brothers when i was pretty little.

r.i.p. ray

Always said I would see him before he went. I didn't. (Kicking myself!) :(

Well I definitely got the blues now, which I guess is appropriate for the occasion. And for some reason I have Georgia on my mind too.

But for Ray, I'll just put my sunglasses on and smile. B)

I never saw him either. I've been saying the same thing about zeppelin (well page & plant that is) but they have only been on tour once in my lifetime and we were on a family vacation.

The stones however, I see every year, always assuming one of em will be dead by the next. They never are.

I know what you mean Drav...

I had the opportunity to see "The King and I" with Yul Brynner one week before it closed for good. He was very sick at that point and actually had to cancel a couple of shows. I saw him perform, and you never would have known that anything was wrong with him. He died only a couple of months later at the most...

There's just no replacing some people.
